Sakhalin Energy invites to take part in the survey for identification topics for 2019 Sustainable Development Report

Sakhalin Energy has commenced preparation of the 11th Sustainable Development Report, and stakeholder engagement is a key tool to determine its contents.

In this respect, the company invites to take part in the survey and identify topics of interest.

This Sustainable Development Report is prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). It is a key public document of the company dedicated to corporate social responsibility and summarising the company’s performance and activities in such areas as corporate governance, HSE, people development, stakeholder engagement, social initiatives, etc. You can find the previous issues on the company's website.

Since 2015 Sakhalin Energy started preparing topical reports, which were devoted to safety, environment, human rights, innovation. The 2019 topic is culture. Several of our earlier reports were acknowledged as the best in Russia, and our 2018 Sustainable Development Report recognised as one of the best in the world.

In 2016 Sakhalin Energy decided to demonstrate in its reports the company’s contribution to UN Sustainable Development Goals adopted by 70th UN General Assembly under the new Global Agenda: Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
