NGOs registered and operating in Sakhalin are invited to propose ideas to address social issues in such areas as environment and biodiversity protection, education, sports and culture, healthy life style promotion and support people from disadvantaged groups.
Sakhalin Energy has announced a competition to award grants to social projects proposed by NGOs.
NPOs registered and operating in Sakhalin are invited to present ideas for addressing social issues in such areas as environment and biodiversity protection, education, sports and culture, healthy life style promotion and support of disadvantaged groups of people.
Sakhalin Energy will allocate up to 300,000 RUR to the winning ‘Local Initiatives’ projects and up to 600,000 RUR to the winning ‘Partnership Projects’.
The grant applications will be reviewed on a biannual basis. The grant applications within the first round of the competition will be accepted until 5 March 2019. The names of the winners will be published at the Energy Social Initiatives Fund website on 19 March 2019.
The second round of the competition will be conducted according to the following procedure: applications accepted until 17 September, winners to be announced on 27 September.
