The Anniversary 10th Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Professionals took place in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. The main outcomes of the Conference were a shared experience and an extended job-related communication.
The format of the event has changed over the last ten years and it is now open to all. In addition to the Company’s employees, the competent members of the jury have evaluated undergraduate students, post graduate students, and other oil and gas companies employees, whose number has significantly increased this year. This makes knowledge and experience sharing by future specialists, colleagues from other cities and Sakhalin Energy employees more active. The Conference reached the record number of participants and Sections in 2018.
81 works have been submitted within six Sections: “Geology, Wells and Reservoir Engineering”, “Engineering and Maintenance”, “Information Technology and Process Automation”, “Economy and HR Management”, “University”. For the first time, the Section in English was introduced.
“Cooperation of young professionals is of a tremendous importance in a competitive resource market. You should be ready for the tasks and challenges to come in the oil and gas industry”, Sakhalin Energy’s Chief Executive Officer Roman Dashkov said.
23 participants were awarded with the winner’s certificates by Roman Dashkov who wished everyone a rewarding job and good luck in further research activities.
